SEAL-UP is a scientifically treated liquid glass (sodium silicate) that is enhanced with copper for maximum, permanent sealing strength.

SEAL-UP is the only permanent block sealer that contains copper for extra strength. It is formulated to permanently seal large and small holes and cracks in blocks, heads, head gaskets, water pumps, radiators, heater cores, freeze plugs – any leak within the cooling system of gasoline or diesel engines.

SEAL-UP seeks out low pressure points (these occur where a hole or crack exists within the cooling system) and the copper and liquid glass flows into the hole or crack to form a permanent ceramic-metallic weld that is as permanent as a mechanical weld.

HEAT and PRESSURE RESISTANT. SEAL-UP will remain sealed in temperatures exceeding 538°C (1000°F). SEAL-UP will remain sealed in pressures up to 3000 pounds per square inch.

PERMANENT WELD. SEAL-UP forms a copper reinforced, ceramic weld that is as permanent as a costly mechanical repair. Once bonded, the seal is permanent for the life of the motor or radiator.

EXPANDS AND CONTRACTS. SEAL-UP is formulated to expand and contract with temperature changes in the engine during start-up, operation, and shutdown. The copper transmits head between the two areas being sealed eliminating hot spots.

SEALING APPLICATIONS. SEAL-UP will seal any crack or leak, in any petrol or diesel engine, within the cooling system – cracks in engine blocks, heads, and water pumps; leaking head gaskets, radiators, heater cores, and freeze plugs; etc. It can also be used in industrial applications where systems are cooled in a similar manner to automobile engines. If a water filter is involved, the filter must be by-passed or removed.

SEALS LARGE HOLES AND RADIATORS. SEAL-UP will easily seal holes of 0.76mm (30 thousandths in diameter), and cracks of any length 0.38mm (15 thousandths wide). SEAL-UP Part No. 1008 will effectively seal all holes and cracks in cooling systems up to 20 Litres capacity.

USE SEAL-UP WHEN REBUILDING ENGINES. When an engine is rebuilt there are often pinholes in the aluminium heads, head gaskets, and other cracks that go unnoticed in the rebuilding phase. Use SEAL-UP in the engine immediately upon installation and the life of the repair and engine will be maximised.

SEALS ALL TYPES METALS. SEAL-UP permanently bonds, with a ceramic-metallic weld, all types of metals – aluminium, copper, brass, steel, iron – and most plastics used in radiators.
